Every exercise, every benchmark, every point — exactly how a match gets decided and how the season table is built.
Every match is scored across five categories — your team fields an athlete (or pair) in each:
There's no fixed roster size carved in stone — plenty of teams start with a handful of people covering multiple categories, and grow from there. Your gym decides who competes where, week to week.
Every match moves through four gates in order. The first three each hold three exercises; the fourth is a combined sprint finish.
| Gate | Exercise | Benchmark |
|---|---|---|
| 1 — Posterior Chain | Ski Erg | 800m |
| Trap Bar Deadlift | 84kg (M) / 54kg (W) × 30 reps | |
| Lunges | 20kg (M) / 10kg (W) sandbag × 10 × 8m lengths (80m) | |
| 2 — Lower Body | Bike (Stationary) | 1,500m |
| Goblet Squat (DB) | 20kg (M) / 15kg (W) × 30 reps | |
| Burpee Box Jump-Overs | 60cm box × 40 reps | |
| 3 — Upper Body | Assault Bike | 50cal (M) / 35cal (W) |
| DB Push Press | 12.5kg (M) / 8kg (W) × 30 reps | |
| DB Snatch | 15kg (M) / 10kg (W) × 30 reps, alternating | |
| 4 — Sprint Finish | Wall Balls | 6kg (M) / 4kg (W) × 50 reps |
| Russian Twist | 9kg (M) / 6kg (W) med ball × 30 each side | |
| Row 500m | First to finish wins |
Doubles and Mixed Doubles pairs are judged against the exact same benchmark as singles — a pair puts up one combined score, not two separate ones added together.
Every exercise in the first three gates works the same way:
All three exercises are combined into one timed, all-out effort. No per-exercise points here — it's about finishing, and finishing first.
Add up every exercise and Gate 4 result for both teams, across all five categories, and whoever has the higher total wins the match. That's what decides who wins on the day.
For the season standings, that result converts into league points — same idea as most team sports:
Higher total across all categories and gates.
3 pointsEvery athlete/pair attempted every exercise and every Gate 4 sprint.
1 pointLose and don't complete every station — a no-show or a DNF partway through — and the match is worth 0 points in the table. Showing up and finishing always counts for something; not finishing doesn't.
A typical season runs 6 weeks. With 4 teams in a region, everyone plays each other twice — one match a week, every week, home and away style. Your season table tracks match points, wins/draws/losses, and total points scored for and against (the tiebreaker when two teams are level on match points) — updated the moment results are entered on match day.
