For Gyms & Clubs

The Gym Operator Guide

Everything you need to bring your gym, run club, or training crew into Gym League Global.

Why Bring Your Gym Into GLG

Gym League Global gives your members something most gyms can't offer on their own: real, structured competition against other gyms, with a season, a ladder, and bragging rights on the line. It's retention and community in one package — members who are training for a Wednesday match against a rival gym show up more, train harder, and stick around longer.

You don't need to be a CrossFit box or a big-box gym to take part. Run clubs, boutique studios, and informal training crews are just as welcome — if you can field a team, you can compete.

Getting Set Up

Registering your gym takes about five minutes:

  1. Go to Register Your Gym and create your gym admin account.
  2. Select your region — if your area isn't live yet, you can still register and you'll be first in line when it launches.
  3. Name your first team (or teams — see below). You can always add more later.
  4. You're in. Your gym dashboard is ready immediately — no waiting on approval for gym accounts.
One gym, multiple teams. If you've got the numbers, you're not limited to a single team. Plenty of gyms will field two, three, or more — split by division, by friend groups, or just by whoever signs up. Add teams anytime from your dashboard.

Building Your Teams

A team needs a name and, eventually, a roster. That's it structurally — but a few practical tips from gyms who've done this before:

Managing Your Roster

There are two ways athletes end up on your team:

Your dashboard shows every athlete on every one of your teams, their contact details, and lets you move people between teams or remove them if needed — full control stays with you.

Costs

Season 2026 registration is free while we roll out the North Shore pilot — we want gyms competing, not counting cents, while we prove out the format. A simple per-athlete season fee will apply from later in 2026 as the league scales; you'll be notified well ahead of any change, and existing gyms will never be surprised by a price change mid-season.

Running Match Day

On the day of your fixture:

  1. Lineups are locked in beforehand — everyone knows which gate they're on and when, and this is displayed on-screen at the venue throughout the day.
  2. Cast the display. Every fixture has a live "Cast Display" link from your Fixtures page — open it on any screen or TV at your venue. It shows the current gate, the exercise, a running timer, and both team lineups, so competitors and spectators always know what's happening and who's up next.
  3. Enter results as you go (or straight after) from the Fixture Results page — points calculate automatically the moment you save.
  4. The table updates live. Your region's leaderboard reflects results as soon as they're entered.
